Seachtain ar leith/ This was a very special week in the history of our school as we moved 3 classes into our gorgeous new building and welcomed children into our early-intervention classes, also situated in the additional accomodation.
Those of you who have been associated with the school for any length of time will know that we have been waiting on this building for almost 3 years. There have been many ups and downs over those 3 years -shared classrooms, co-teaching, construction traffic etc, not mention all the other headaches in the background. This project was taken on by one board of management, and completed by a second, and at times it seemed like it was never going to happen. But when the builders eventually came to site, things progressed quite quickly and we now have additional accomodation that is second to none. We will have an official opening ceremony in the future, but for now, I would like to thank everyone, both parents and staff, for their patience during this project. Ré nua don Ghaelscoil!
